2017 Sports Medicine Symposium:

The Team Approach

This course will discuss how the use of the Team approach will better serve your athletes. We will also discuss how the different members of the sports medicine team can contribute to the rehabilitation continuum. We will highlight the contribution of members such as Nutritionist, physical therapists, DO, Team physicians, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS) and how they can all work together to enhance the rehabilitation process. 

 

Who should attend? Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and other healthcare professionals.

CEU INFORMATION

Athletic Trainers: Professional Seminars is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for  Certified Athletic Trainers. This program is eligible for a maximum of 3.5 Category A hours/CEUs.

New York Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants: Professional Seminars is recognized as an approved provider of Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant continuing education by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Physical Therapy. Full attendance at this Seminar qualifies for 4.2 contact hours in NY.
