Clinical Education for Students

Professional Physical Therapy is proud to provide a Clinical Affiliation Program for students of accredited Physical Therapy programs, Physical Therapist Assistant programs, Athletic Training programs, and Exercise Physiology graduate and undergraduate programs. For more information about affiliating with Professional as part of your academic program, please visit our Clinical Affiliation Program Page.

Professional is pleased to announce the start of a student lecture series as part of our Clinical Affiliation Program (CAP).  The lecture series is part of our continued commitment to providing our students with a well-rounded educational experience.  The sessions will run by our Clinical Excellence faculty on a biweekly basis.

Created in conjunction with Professional’s Clinical Affiliation Program (CAP) the Annual Student Symposium offers the opportunity for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Athletic Training students to learn about current clinical concepts and treatment techniques. Students will be able to learn about different clinical knowledge tools that they can utilize during their clinical affiliations as well as in the professional setting when they graduate and head out into clinical practice.

It is Professional Seminars' goal to provide quality continuing education programs for all current as well as future rehabilitation professionals.  The topics featured in our annual symposium include relevant information on functional progressions for the lower extremity, upper extremity and core as well as an introduction to hand therapy and other relevant rehab topics.

Who should attend? Physical Therapy/Physical Therapist Assistant Students, Athletic Training Students, Occupational Therapy Students and other interested health care professionals.

Admission to the Student Symposium is FREE for all current PT, PTA, OT, OTA and AT students.
