ABOUT THE EVENT:

Splint demonstrations followed by splint lab for hands on practice with fabrication.

Beginner and Advanced sessions will be offered concurrently.

Beginner session:

Target audience - therapists with less than 2 years of experience

Splints - hand and forearm based thumb spica, wrist cock up, hand and forearm based ulnar gutter and mallet finger

Advanced session:

Target audience – experienced therapists looking to practice long arm and dynamic splints as well as splints for regaining motion in stiff joints as part of treatment

Splints -  Static progressive MCPJ flexion splint, Static progressive elbow extension splint, Dynamic supination splint, Dorsal Blocking Splint for Post op Flexor tendons, Relative Motion splinting for sagittal band injuries
