•   Diagnosis of spinal disorders that are indicated for HVLAT.
•   Practitioner body mechanics, and patient handling
•   Comprehensive manipulation techniques for the whole spine

Day 1:

8:45 am-11:15 am (includes 15 min break) Introduction to course objectives. Anatomy Review. Lecture covering screening, indications, precautions, and contraindications for use of spinal manipulation. Review clinical findings on effectiveness of techniques. Review Kinematics and handling for spinal manipulation techniques. Review diagnoses that respond well to techniques.
11:15 am-12:15 pm Lunch
12:15 pm-5:30 pm (includes 15 min break) Lab: Review Cervical manipulation techniques

Sunday

Day 2:

8:45 am-5:30 pm

8:45 am-11:15 am (includes 15 min break) Review Cervical manipulation from previous day, Lab: Thoracic and Rib manipulation techniques

11:15 am-12:15 pm Lunch

12:15 pm-5:30 pm (includes 15 min break) Lab: Review Lumbar, SI, and Pubic Symphysis manipulation techniques

INSTRUCTOR BIO

Dr. Armia Abdo, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. SMT, CAFS, SSRC, CSCS

Armia Abdo is a southern California native and received his doctorate in physical therapy from Azusa Pacific University and his BS in Kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton. Earlier in his professional career he found a passion for working with spinal disorders. This led him to receive multiple post graduate certifications to advance his understanding to better serve his patients. His training allowed him to become a clinic owner, and mentor eventually establishing spinal manipulation courses as part of a residency program at Coury and Buehler physical therapy in California. Over the years he has developed his spinal manipulation course to include all the current evidence and most effective techniques.

Cancellations received at least five (5) business days before the event are refundable, less a $50.00 administrative charge per registrant. There will be no refund for cancellations received later. Please note: If you register and do not attend, you are still responsible for full payment. The expense of continuing education, when taken to maintain and improve professional skills, may be tax deductible. Please contact your accountant for complete details. For courses cancelled by Professional Seminars Ltd. participants have the option to attend a rescheduled date or receive a full refund of the registration cost.
