Dr. Leslie Anne Bottrell, MD, MBBS

Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician | Event Physician

Dr. Leslie Bottrell is a Sports Medicine specialist with a unique, multi-disciplinary background spanning education, athletics, and international medicine. Currently a physician partner at Northwell Health, she practices Primary Care Sports Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital and Lenox Hill Greenwich Village.

Her career began in Canada as a high school teacher and basketball coach before shifting to the global stage in Australia, where she worked at the 2000 Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games. She subsequently earned her medical degree from the University of Sydney and trained in critical care medicine.   

Before settling in New York in 2016, Dr. Bottrell spent time in Shanghai, China, practicing Family, Sports, and Event Medicine, and undertaking formal studies in Acupuncture at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
